Backyard Produce Garden Fundraiser
November, 13 2011 – Assist St. Michaels students in establishing their own organic Food Bank Garden at The Backyard Produce Garden Project. The Backyard Produce Garden Project’s mission is to have volunteers grow fresh produce for local families in need. Specifically, the proceeds will cover the fencing, hardware cloth (to keep out gophers and the like), organic pest control products, pbc piping, drip line, seeds, worm tea, compost bins, basic garden tools and work gloves. –It is quite literally “seed” money! 100% of the proceeds from this event will benefit The Backyard Produce Garden Project & St. Michael’s Catholic School Gardeners.

Update on event – The garden is underway and we raised over $1,700. Thank you for all your support!
